Sean Burke ('93) - University of Arizona (AZ)
Desert Elite is an outstanding program that really helped me develop not
only as a player, but also as a person. The coaches of Desert Elite are
not only the best coaches I’ve ever had the pleasure of learning from,
but also some of the greatest people I’ve ever met. They truly care about their players and make it their utmost goal
to make them better players. They taught me the skills necessary to play
at the collegiate level. I owe my success to Desert Elite for teaching
me the fundamentals, pushing me to better myself, and for making me a better soccer player as well as a person. I can
only thank Desert Elite and its awesome coaches for the greatest soccer
experience of my life.
Katelyn Wyczalek ('93) - Saint Martin
University (WA)
Katelyn is playing soccer for Saint Martin's University in Lacey,
Washington. She was offered a great scholarship package. Saint Martin's
University is an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Great
Northwest Athletic Conference.
Jordan Hartman ('92) - Lake Forest (IL)
I spent over a decade with the Desert Elite Soccer
Club. Along with training and working with superior coaches and making
friends that I'll know forever, the club prepared me, skill-wise, to
continue playing at the collegiate level. The club made training fun
while maintaining a serious soccer attitude.
Its College Program also gave me inroads of
how to be best prepared for the next step academically whilst exposing
me to college coaches.

Tanner Clark ('92) - PVCC (AZ)
Desert Elite is a program that surrounds its
players with high level coaches that bring tons of knowledge to each
practice and game. Desert Elite prepared me so that I could excel at the
sport and gave me the skills and mentality it takes to make it to the
collegiate level of play.

Brittany Butcher ('92) -
Shenandoah University (VA)
My experience with Desert Elite Soccer Club was
primarily with Noel Clarkson. Noel taught me all the fundamentals,
techniques and strategies needed to play the game. Noel always pushed me
and made me what I am today. He made my experience absolutely amazing
and motivated me to play at the University level of soccer. I want to
thank Desert Elite for giving me such a great coach who inspired me a
great deal.

Amanda Shimkus ('92) -
SCC (AZ)
UPDATE - CHAMPS!!!
Congratulations to former Elite player Amanda Shimkus and the Lady
Artichokes for capturing the District A Championship on Saturday at
Scottsdale Community College. The Lady Artichokes defeated Cisco
College 3-0 to advance to national tournament held in Melbourne,
Florida. The team improved their record to 20-0-1 on the season.
The ‘Chokes opened the scoring with an unassisted goal from Amanda
Shimkus that proved to be the game winner. Amanda also assisted on the
3rd.
The Desert Elite Soccer Program is one that I am
proud to say that I was a part of. Over the years I learned the right
way to play soccer. The coaches were focused on the players more than
anything, and strived to get us to play to the best of our ability. I
was pushed to do my best and to keep improving every day. The way Desert
Elite works is definitely different than any other club that I've played
for. We grow as a whole, focusing on the group rather than the stars.
The team becomes a family, creating life long relationships while
playing the sport you love. The coaches have a connection with each
individual, allowing the players to know that they are always there to
help. I know that I can call any of the coaches when I have a problem,
with soccer or not, and they will be there to help me. Another plus from
being on Elite since I was young has prepared me for college soccer. I
am currently captain at SCC, and was not thrown into something I wasn't
ready for. My fundamentals and expectations are far better than many of
the girls that played for other clubs, and I have Desert Elite to thank
for that. |

Taylor Ortman
('92) – Averett University (VA)
The coaching staff was very friendly and committed to making me a better
player. The skills I learned from Elite have helped me become the
collegiate player I am today.

Kristin Donati ('87) - NAU (AZ)
My soccer career began with the Desert Elite soccer
program at it's inception. They taught me not only the skills of
the game but to love the game. The foundation that I learned at
Desert Elite followed me through my college years at Northern Arizona
playing at the collegiate level. |
