95 Girls Elite Finish Season Undefeated
March 2008 - The 95G Elite finished an awesome season after winning Fight 2 of the VYSL both Season 195 Desert Elite Girls and Season 2 undefeated. This accomplishment was all the more amazing due to the fact that the team was new at the beginning of the season made up of a combination of players who had played on competitive, developmental and recreational teams.  After completing their double flight win, the 95G Elite went into the Open Cup and tied all 3 of their games in a bracket consisting of strong Flight 1 teams. The ties were disappointing since the 95G Elite controlled all three games and were easily one of the best teams in the bracket and, despite remaining undefeated, they were eliminated on points. Other major accomplishments for the season included 2nd place in the Ring of Fire tournament in a U14 bracket and 3rd in the Fort Lowell Shootout and winning first place in 3 out of the 4 competitions in the soccer Olympics in Tucson.  Congrats ladies on a great season!

February 2007 - At the 2008 Ring of Fire Tournament, the 94G Elite Black girls and the 95G Elite were in a combined U13/U14 bracket.  The 94 girls took first with the 95 girls finishing second.  The 94's played strong defense only giving up one goal (that to the 95's).  The 95's also played strong defense only giving up 3 goals (2 to the 94's). The 94G Elite Black also placed second in the U14 Silver bracket at the Shoot for the Stars Tournament.  They again played strong defense not giving up a single goal.  Due to weather, the final was decided by a coin flip that they lost.
